Atalanta effectively have two chances of qualifying, as they will gain an automatic spot in the competition if they beat Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final later this month, while Roma will now need to qualify through their final position in Serie A, having been knocked out of Europe by the aforementioned Leverkusen on Thursday.

In terms of team news, Atalanta are still without Emil Holm, Rafael Toloi and Sead Kolasinac through injury, but have all of their recent first teamers ready and available.

With the Coppa Italia final against Juventus coming up on Wednesdays, a few rotations are possible. Some reports over the weekend suggest that Teun Koopmeiners could be among those handed a rest.

Roma meanwhile, will likely give an opportunity to Tommaso Baldanzi in attack in place of Dybala. Leonardo Spinazzola also remains out, so Angelino is the natural replacement at left-back.

Kick-off is set for 19.45 BST.

Atalanta-Roma – probable line-ups

Atalanta (3-4-1-2): Carnesecchi; Scalvini, Hien, Djimsiti; Hateboer, De Roon, Ederson, Ruggeri; Pasalic; Miranchuk, Scamacca.

Roma (4-3-3): Svilar; Celik, Mancini, Smalling, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Baldanzi, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.
