Liverpool exited Europe in midweek despite beating Atalanta at the Gewiss. A 3-0 home defeat proved far too much to come back from, with Klopp’s men starting to suffer from an incredibly demanding schedule.

The Reds are two points adrift of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, and while City have proven to be fallible this season, it feels as if Liverpool must win out if they’re to usurp the Cityzens.

A tricky game away at Fulham beckons after their continental exploits, and here’s the team Klopp could pick for Sunday’s outing.

The Brazilian notched his first clean sheet since returning from injury in midweek. Alisson should remain between the sticks for the rest of the season despite CaoimhĂn Kelleher’s stellar stint in his absence.

Alexander-Arnold made his first start since February on Thursday, reminding us all of his supreme passing range. His return should serve as a major boost.

Klopp hasn’t been afraid to utilise impressive youngster Jarell Quansah to offer Konate some respite, but the Frenchman should earn the lion’s share of minutes until the season’s end.The Dutchman has registered the most minutes in the Liverpool squad by quite a distance, with Van Dijk also starting both legs against Atalanta. He’s particularly desperate to give Klopp the perfect send-off.The dynamic full-back has had his fair share of injuries this term, but Robertson has shown signs of rediscovering his best form in recent weeks.Endo has played a low-key role in Liverpool’s campaign thus far, and he should return to the team on Sunday after earning a midweek rest.

The Argentine looks like he’s suffering from fatigue, but Mac Allister is so crucial to the functionality of Liverpool’s midfield that he can’t miss Sunday’s game.

Elliott is used to making a difference off the bench, but he could get the nod at Craven Cottage, replacing Dominik Szoboszlai.

Some have questioned whether Salah, who scored a penalty in Bergamo, needs to come out of the team given his struggles since returning from injury. Klopp would be a brave man to drop the Egyptian, however.

Liverpool’s inefficient work in the final third should be mitigated by sharpshooter Jota, although the Portuguese international caught the Reds’ finishing bug during last weekend’s defeat to Palace.
